COVID Protocol - Updated 12/24/20
1. COVID (+) Positive Individual:
If a coach or player is identified to test (+) for COVID:
* Coaches and players can return after 10 days of the positive test date if they are not showing any symptoms.
* Through contact tracing it will be determined if any other players or teams will need to quarantine.
2. Close Contact Individual:
If a coach or player is deemed close contact:
Option 1 - 7 days of quarantine and can return to play if:
* A test is taken on Day 5 or later and is negative AND
* Coach or player has not experienced any symptoms AND
* Coach or player continues to monitor for symptoms through Day 14
Option 2 - 10 days of quarantine and can return to play if:
* Coach or player has not experienced any symptoms up to this point AND
* Coach or player continues to monitor for symptoms through Day 14
Option 3 - 14 days of quarantine and can return to play if:
* Coach or player has not experienced any symptoms during the quarantine period
* Coach or player may return after 14 days when symptom free for 48 hours
The local Board Of Health along with the South Shore Eagles Executive Board will be responsible for clearing exposed individuals to return to hockey activity. Protocols are subject to change.
